Hamilton East Public Library Author Fair
The Hamilton East Public Library (HEPL) is excited to host our 2023 Local Author Fair, a free, open house-style event for all ages. The event will be held on Saturday, April 15 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the FORUM Events Center, 11313 USA Pkwy, Fishers, Indiana.
Nearly 60 local authors and literary organizations from Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield, Tipton, Indianapolis, Pendleton, Greenfield, and other Central Indiana areas will have exhibit space for the public to meet them and have opportunities to purchase their books. Authors will be available for book signings, and there will be chances to win book bundles and other prizes for those who attend.
A fantastic array of local author talent representing a broad range of genres, including picture books, mystery thrillers, action, adventure, true crime, biographies, romance, self-help, local and Indiana history, science fiction, and much more, will be at this free event to the public. The Local Author Fair is a free event for all ages, including children, teens, adults, and families.
New to this year’s Fair are three, free writing workshops taking place at the FORUM Events Center during the Fair. Workshops include “Get Started,” “Embellishing Vivid Memories into Fictional Tales,” and “Introduction to Self-Publishing.” While free, registration is required for each workshop as space is limited. Visit the HEPL event calendar to sign up.
Follow HEPL on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, and be sure to tag us and use #heplauthorfair to connect with some of our authors and learn about chances to win prizes and meet some of the authors.
The Local Author Fair is sponsored in part by the Friends of the Hamilton East Public Library.
